One of the most prestigious amateur championships in Great Britain and Ireland, the Scottish Open Stroke Play Championship is the pinnacle of Scottish Golf's national titles at men's level.

The championship is sure to attract a stellar field from across the world, with players aiming to join an impressive list of past champions including victorious Ryder Cup captains Bernard Gallacher and Colin Montgomerie, as well as current European Tour stars Stephen Gallacher and Richie Ramsay. English teenager Marco Penge took the title at Moray in 2015.
