This section of the website is designed to provide individual golfers with an insight into many of the greenkeeping practices and operations that are undertaken to present our Scottish golf courses in the best possible condition for all golfers, at all times. Augusta often sets early season expectations with its manicured presentation and immaculate greens – something our GB&I climate does not lend itself towards at that time of year.

These articles are therefore designed to provide individual golfers with some background and understanding of the key challenges greenkeepers face with our climate and how their greenkeeping operations are, therefore, aligned to enhance the golfer’s experiences whatever time of year they are playing.
