R&A - The Golf Course

The new site will provide more information on how to develop and manage courses that provide a value for money playing experience, that are economically viable, that demonstrate environmental stewardship and that contribute positively to society. It is targeted at the decision makers at golf facilities with the executive power to initiate and drive change.

The new site will present regularly updated:

• news stories from around the world on sustainability issues that may affect your course
• case studies showcasing practical steps towards greater economic stability
• features on organisations and individuals that will inspire you to even greater success in the sustainable management of your course.
  
  The benchmarking service available on bestcourseforgolf will not feature on the new site.  However, those registered for benchmarking, will be pleased to know that this service will remain open but on a different website.  As from 6 July 2011, benchmarking can be found at www.randabenchmarking.org
