Many golfers often ask why greenkeepers punch large holes in their greens just as they had reached their best condition during the season, why top dressings are applied, what the patches of disease are and why they occur, why there are so many wormcasts at particular times of the year, and why the greens flood and hold water rather than draining away.

The turf management fact sheets provide the answers to these questions and many more, highlighting the importance of course management practices, why they are undertaken and how they help greenkeeping staff to meet the challenges of a changing, and at times increasingly wetter, climate.
