Nine-Hole Qualifying CompetitionsThe 2008-2011 revision of the CONGU® Unified Handicapping System, formally incorporated Nine-Hole Qualifying Competitions within Clause 22, which can be run at the discretion of affiliated golf clubs. This format of Qualifying Competition has been introduced to provide additional opportunities for those golf club Members who are challenged, for whatever reason, to play 18-Hole Qualifying Competitions frequently enough to establish and maintain a CONGU® Handicap representaitve of their potential and current ability. An application form for golf clubs to apply for a Nine-Hole Standard Scratch Score is also available in the Related Documents section.
