Supplementary Scores

The 2008-2011 CONGU Unified Handicapping System formally introduced Supplementary Scores for players who are restricted by business, family or social commitments from entering Qualifying Competitions for handicap purposes.

This allows such players the opportunity to maintain a handicap through the submission of Supplementary Scores. Please see the Related Documents for details.

The following updates have been made to the CONGU UHS, effective 1 January 2011:

Clause 21.1:
Players in all handicap categories, including Category 1, will be eligible to submit Supplementary Scores from 1 January 2011.

Clause 21.2:
Players in all handicap categories are eligible to submit supplementary scores irrespective of how many qualifying scores they submitted in the preceding period between Annual Handicap Reviews. The restriction of six or fewer scores submitted the previous year to be eligible to submit Supplementary Scores will be removed from 1 January 2011.
