Scottish Golf Awards

The 2012 Scottish Golf Awards takes place on Friday 23 March at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Glasgow, celebrating the achievements of Scotland’s golfers and golf clubs from the past 12 months, from the grass roots of the game through to our leading amateur golfers and Tour professional stars.

Sponsored by Annodata, one of Europe’s largest print, document, data and communication technologies vendors, the event is now in its twelfth year and has become one of the highlights of the domestic golfing calendar.

A variety of Awards will be presented on the night, including the SGU and SLGA Order of Merit winners, RBS Junior Club and Volunteer Awards, the Scottish Golf Lifetime Achievement Award and the presentation to the Player of the Year.

BBC golf commentator Andrew Cotter is your host and he will be joined on stage by some famous sporting names, with some fantastic raffle and silent auction prizes to be won. Tickets cost £75 per person or £700 for a table of ten (inc VAT), providing great value for a superb evening’s entertainment for golf fans up down the country.

RBS Junior Golf and Volunteer of the Year Awards

We invite you to nominate your junior section or volunteer to be considered for these fantastic awards, with £1,000 up for grabs for the Junior Club of the Year and £500 for Scotland’s top volunteer. Won last year by Orkney Golf Club and Palacerigg’s Frank Anderson respectively, these awards highlight the great work being done to encourage more youngsters to play golf, through the national junior golf programme, ClubGolf .
