RBS Volunteer of the Year Award 2011-12

The search is on to find Scottish Golf’s RBS Golf Volunteer of the Year and we’re inviting you to nominate someone who you think is deserving of this prestigious inaugural award, which will be presented by one of the country’s leading golfers at The Scottish Golf Awards Dinner, March 2012.

With a fantastic prize fund up for grabs for the winner and their club or facility, our aim is to recognise the contribution of the game’s unsung heroes, from volunteer coaches to devoted committee members who have made a significant difference to the game of golf in your local community.

Do you have someone in mind? Please complete the nomination form (which is available to download from the related documents section) and send via email to: sgu@scottishgolf.org or by post to: RBS Golf Volunteer of the Year Award, Scottish Golf Union, The Dukes, St Andrews, KY16 8NX.

Closing date for nominations has been extended to 5pm on Friday, 10 February

An independent judging panel will select four finalists, each of whom will be invited (with a partner) to the Scottish Golf Awards 2012 where the RBS Golf Volunteer of the Year for 2012 will be announced.

The Scottish Golf Awards 2012 take place at the Crowne Plaza, Glasgow on Friday 23 March.
