Glasgow Golf Club was founded in 1787 making it the ninth oldest golf club in the World. Members have access to two different courses 35 miles apart.
At Killermont, on the North bank of the River Kelvin, and just five miles from Glasgow city centre, we enjoy a manicured parkland course which follows the original line of play to the greensites laid out by Old Tom Morris in December 1903. The course has hosted many prestigious events over the years.
At Gailes, on the Ayrshire coast, we have a challenging links course. It was designed by Willie Park Jnr in 1912 and we are naturally proud of the fact that it is chosen regularly by the Royal and Ancient Golf Club as a final qualifying course for the Open Championship.
