Open Day at Lothianburn Golf Club on Sunday

Lothianburn Golf Club, situated at the foot of the Pentland Hills just a mile south of Edinburgh, holds his Open Day on Sunday (27 May) as it invites golfers to experience the benefits of being a member of the club.

Established in 1893, the classic James Braid layout represents a great challenge at competitive prices.

At just under 6,000 yards, it may be short by today's standards, but with a SSS of 69 against the par of 71 and some very slick putting surfaces, the course represents a solid test for golfers of all levels.

Golfers can come along on Sunday for an inexpensive round of golf and a light meal, plus after 1pm a group tuition session with club professional Kurt Mungall.

The cost is only £10 per person, which includes soup, a hot filled roll and free entry to a raffle to win membership.

All golfers are asked to do is telephone 0131 445 2288 to book a tee-time which are available from 9am.
