Scotland's national stroke play championship for over 55s with competitors from all over the world taking part. Previous winners include Scotland's Walker Cup legends Charlie Green and Ian Hutcheon. It shall comprise 54 holes of stroke play over three days. 18 holes shall be played on each of the first two days. The 40 competitors returning the lowest scores over the first 36 holes and those tying for 40th place shall play a final 18 holes.

Entry Details: Entrants must be aged 55 or over at 00.01 on 30 June 2010 The starting field shall be 144 and in the event of an over-entry the number shall be reduced in order of exact handicap. Entrants who have failed to gain entry will be allocated to a reserve list by order of handicap.

Since its foundation in 1892, Pollok has encouraged the best traditions and etiquette of golf. While it is a private men's Club, guests are welcome when introduced by a member. The course offers golf for all standards. The course measures 6,358 yards from the medal tees, however, if you want something less taxing, it measures 6,008 yards from the forward tees. Ladies and Juniors play a course measuring 5,645 yards. Golf is available to visitors on most weekdays, and is arranged by the round or day.
