The premier amateur team event in Great Britain and Ireland, contested on an annual basis between Scotland, England, Ireland and Wales. Each team is represented by the leading eleven amateur players in their respective countries, playing Ryder Cup style match play in a round robin format. Many current European Tour stars have played in the event in recent years, including the likes of Rory McIlroy, Tom Lewis and Richie Ramsay. A great championship for fans of amateur golf.
