The Battle Trophy was a new addition to the SGU Order of Merit and R&A World Ranking schedule for 2011.
The trophy was first played for in 1998 and previous winners include James White (Lundin) and George Murray (Earlsferry Thistle).
Entry Details: It is a 72 hole event with a cut after two rounds for top 40 and ties and will be played over Craighead Links at Crail GS.

Golfing legend Old Tom Morris laid out the original nine holes at Balcomie in 1895 and in 1998 a second course, Craighead Links, was designed by Gil Hanse, whose outstanding work was recognised in 2009 with the Golf Course Architect of the Year Award.
