The Scottish golf club industry relies heavily on the support of volunteer committee members both working in tandem with paid club staff, and without the support of employees.
Until now little induction, support or guidance has been provided to help those volunteers to fully understand their role and avoid the known pitfalls. Indeed, many volunteers are unable to contribute as much as they would like to because they lack the clarity of what they should focus on and support to get their ‘job’ done.
Scottish Golf has developed a range of on-demand seminars which are open to all affiliated clubs to attend. Simply register your interest in attending and when sufficient demand for any subject has been reached Scottish Golf will contact you and provide at least four weeks’ notice of the date and venue of the event.
