With transformational change at the heart of our plans for 2019, an exciting job vacancy has arisen within Scottish Golf, with candidates sought for the role of Regional Club Development Officer to join our team. This role will cover the local authority areas of Highland, Eilean Siar, Orkney, Shetland and Moray.
Our vision is for golf to be Scotland’s game for everyone, inspiring a nation to love golf in all its forms and contribute to a healthier, inclusive and aspirational country. With a key focus on supporting member clubs in the region to be more welcoming, open and inclusive to increase membership and help clubs embrace the needs of demographic change, digital transformation and influence cultural change, the post-holder will make a significant contribution to the delivery of the organisation’s strategic ambitions for the growth of the game in Scotland.
Ideal candidates must have experience of in or a diverse workload, possess excellent communications skills and have a good knowledge of club operations and systems. Applicants should be self-motivated, focused and demonstrate an ability to work under their own initiative in a fast-paced environment.
A competitive salary and excellent benefits package is on offer. Post-holders will be based within the North Region and will be subject to further discussion with the successful candidate, however given the large region covered it is anticipated that significant travel will be required in this role.
