Managing the events team and ensuring the annual tournament schedule is delivered on budget and in line with the overall Scottish Golf Strategy. Responsible for identifying and securing all Championship venues, liaising with key event stakeholders and partners and overseeing the logistical movements of staff and equipment. Tournament Director on-site at events, responsible for course set-up and rules as well as the delivery of Annual Scottish Golf Rules School.
A Business and Languages Graduate from Stirling University with more than 13 years experience working with the Ladies European Tour (LET) and the Ladies’ Golf Union (LGU). As Tournament Director with the LET, Fraser was responsible for delivering events such as the Aberdeen Asset Ladies Scottish Open and Mission Hills World Ladies Golf Championship, as well as numerous Ladies’ British Open Amateur Championships and Home International Matches during his time with the LGU. An experienced Rules Official, Fraser has officiated at more than 100 professional events worldwide including The Ricoh Women’s British Open and The US Women’s Open. A category 1 golfer and member of Kinross, Fraser enjoys badminton and spending time with his family.
