Scottish Golf Club Captain’s Weekend 2017
Scottish Golf are once again running our Captain’s Weekend – an opportunity for club leaders to explore best practice in club governance & leadership, and enjoy the opportunity to network, dine and golf with other club leaders.
The Captain’s Weekend has become an annual event hosted by Scottish Golf after two successful events in 2015 and 2016.
The two-day training will take place 25 – 26 March at Stirling Court Hotel in the grounds of Stirling University.
The training will cost £199 per delegate, which includes one nights accommodation at Stirling Court Hotel, breakfast, lunch, an evening meal, a game of golf and all course materials.
Speakers will cover topics such as leadership, governance, the state of the industry, a well as case studies from Scottish clubs.
With Saturday including dinner and entertainment in the evening and Sunday concluding the training with a game of golf available in the afternoon.
Club Captains, both current and incoming are encouraged to attend the weekend along with their Club Manager/Secretary to help put into practice what they learn throughout the training.
