What do you need to know about changes to data protection law?
There has been a lot in the press recently about changes to the laws that regulate the way personal information is used. The new General Data Protection Regulation (known as the GPDR) will increase penalties for misuse of data and will have consequences for the way golf clubs handle membership lists and also personnel records. Ross McKenzie, director and head of data protection at Burness Paull solicitors will explain about the law in this session and will share some practical tips on the steps to be taken to prepare for the changes.
