Club Captain’s Guide

In 2016, Scottish Golf produced a groundbreaking resource for club captains and chairs – the Captain’s Guide highlighted the range of tools and services available for clubs and shared an understanding of the challenges clubs are currently facing in the industry.

This February we have again produced this guide with some updates, and a copy has been mailed to your club.

Reflecting feedback from clubs seeking more support and guidance in this area, the Captain’s Guide is aimed at helping Club Captain’s and their colleagues build a stronger future for their club.

Whether members consider the Captain of the club to be in charge, or whether they look to the Club Manager to lead, it’s essential that both office bearers pull in the same direction.

The guidebook also includes an invitation to attend the upcoming Captain’s Weekend on 25 – 26 March, where club leaders will come together to further enhance their knowledge with industry expert speakers.
