Dunblane New Golf Club, an extremely well presented golf course set in town of Dunblane, Central Scotland, is seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated Apprentice Greenkeeper with good communication skills and the ability to work both autonomously and within a dedicated team.
Working under the direction of the Course Manager or his Deputy, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the course and practice facilities are maintained to a first class playing condition as well as assisting with numerous exciting course projects. Full training and support, both on the job and at college will be given to the successful applicant This is a full time waged position with flexible working hours. You must be willing to work weekend mornings on a rotating roster. A good knowledge of golf and holding a current driving license would be advantageous but not essential.

Bar & Functions Manager – Pitreavie (Dunfermline) Golf Club
An opportunity has arisen for a Bar and Functions Manager to join the team at Pitreavie Golf Club, a private members club in Dunfermline.
As the ideal candidate, you will have a background/experience of bar and events management as you will have day to day control of the house and beverage operation. You will work hand-in-hand with the Club’s Catering Manager to provide a seamless service to members, visitors and all functions within the club. You will need to be an energetic, motivational team leader with excellent people management skills. You also must be a good communicator and gain understanding of customer service and the needs of the business.
The successful applicant is expected to hold a personal alcohol licence and ensure the club operates within current licensing laws. You will be required to coordinate the day-to-day running of the bar and maintain a staff rota that is flexible to meet the needs of the business while ensuring a fair balance between working hours and holidays. All staff are expected to work some evenings and weekends.
You will report to the Golf Club Council via the Club Secretary. Working hours are flexible with an average of 40 hours per week over the year expected. A competitive salary linked to experience is offered and a company pension policy is available. Statutory holidays may be enhanced annually depending on success within the role.
