European Tour CEO to headline BIGGA Scotland Conference

Scottish Golf is delighted to be supporting this year’s BIGGA Scotland Golf Industry Conference, taking place on Tuesday 5 March 2019 at Perth Concert Hall. One of the industry’s most popular annual events, this year’s conference is being hosted by TV presenter Alison Walker and will focus on innovative thinking and its impact on the golf industry as a whole.

The keynote speaker is European Tour CEO, Keith Pelley, who will talk through his thoughts on the changes the golf industry needs to make in order to thrive, as well as the new concepts the Tour has implemented during his tenure. Other speakers include well-known agronomist Jimmy Kidd, Kilmarnock Barassie club manager Claire Middleton, Gordon Moir and John Grant from the St Andrews Links Trust and PGA professional Karyn Dallas, recently appointed as national girls coach at Scottish Golf.

Through our support of the event, we are pleased to offer a special booking promotion for affiliated clubs.

Scottish Golf will provide a Club Manager / Secretary or Club Official a FREE place at the Conference if accompanied by a greenkeeper. The cost of your greenkeeper’s ticket will be £40 (irrespective of whether the greenkeeper is a BIGGA member or not). This offer is limited to the first 40 places allocated.

This represents a saving of £60 on a non-member ticket and will hopefully encourage club managers/secretaries/officials to attend the Conference together with a member of their greenkeeping team.
