Scottish Club Handicap Championship
11, August 2017
Scotland's club golfers have the chance to be crowned national champions in 2017, with the leading club pairings from each Regional Final across the country chasing the coveted title.
Each club in Scotland is invited to host a local qualifying event for its members through an existing competition, with the two players topping the leaderboard (nett scores) going onto represent their club at one of five Regional Finals taking place in August and September.
The leading clubs from each qualifier will compete for the silverware in the Grand Final being held at the glorious Fairmont resort (Torrance course) in St Andrews on Friday 22 September. Further details and format will be confirmed to all participants nearer the time.
Entry can be made online by selecting the preferred Regional Final:
> Friday 11 August, West Lothian
> Friday 18 August, Powfoot
> Friday 25 August, Portlethen
> Friday 1 September, Fortrose & Rosemarkie
> Friday 1 September, Paisley
The Scottish Club Handicap Championship has been the country’s biggest participation event since its launch in 1999, with around 20,000 club members taking part in local qualifying each year.
