With transformational change at the heart of our plans for 2019, an exciting job vacancy has arisen within Scottish Golf, with candidates sought for the role of Marketing Executive.
Scottish Golf is embracing the fast-paced developments in digital marketing and communications. We communicate with a wide audience across a number of platforms including web, social media, and e-marketing. Leveraging these channels is particularly important in fostering our relationships with clubs, golfers (members and non-members), volunteers, industry partners, sponsors and other stakeholders.
The post holder will be a strategic thinker, you will work across a multitude of sponsors ensuring exemplary standards of service while delivering demonstrable ROI against sponsors investments. While contributing to the overall marketing of the new digital solution.
Ideal candidates must have experience of marketing and communications from an agency, brand of rights holder environment (minimum 2 years). Applicants should be creative, innovative, passionate about golf and demonstrate an ability to work under their own initiative in a fast-paced environment.
A competitive salary and excellent benefits package is on offer.This role will be based within our Edinburgh office (with additional access to our St Andrews base), however given the nature of the role it is anticipated that evening and weekend work, along with an element of travel will be required in this role.
