Golf is truly a world sport and to become successful and remain successful at the highest level requires talent, dedication, opportunity and support.

Scottish Golf is continually striving to put in place the best support systems and structures to ensure our most talented Scottish players are given every opportunity to reach their full potential. Ultimately, we are trying to produce players who can compete internationally on the world stage.

For example, did you know..? Eight-time European No 1 and Ryder Cup hero Colin Montgomerie represented Scotland at amateur level and played on two Walker Cup sides for Great Britain & Ireland.

Through written and video content, the Performance section outlines the various stages involved in our pathway to becoming a top amateur or professional golfer.
