Connie’s mum wanted her to be a dancer, but she cried every time she went to classes. When her dad then took her to the driving range, she fell in love with golf! Her first national title was the Scottish Under 14 Girls Championship and she became Scottish Girls Champion of Champions winner in 2011. Crowned Scottish Girls champion and Scottish Schools champion in 2013, Connie went on to win the Girls Order of Merit, which she repeated in 2014 when she also won the Ladies Order of Merit. The Kansas State University student has added to her haul of titles on the other side of the Atlantic, winning four times. In 2017, she impressively claimed the Scottish Women’s Amateur crown after victory over Clara Young at Royal Aberdeen.
